北京时间4月2日，NBA官方公布了三月份的东西部最佳教练，西部月最佳教练由太阳主帅蒙蒂-威廉姆斯获得，东部月最佳教练由老鹰主帅麦克米兰获得。
威廉姆斯带领太阳在三月取得了11胜3负的成绩，目前太阳以33胜14负排名西部第二；
麦克米兰带领老鹰在三月取得了9胜4负的成绩，目前老鹰以23胜24负排名东部第7。
值得一提的是，这是麦克米兰担任老鹰主帅的第一个月，老鹰在3月2日解雇了前任主帅皮尔斯，随后扶正了麦克米兰。
