北京时间4月20日，据美国名记沙姆斯-查拉尼亚的报道，火箭球员斯特林-布朗昨晚在迈阿密一夜店外遭到不明人士的袭击，场面十分惨烈，布朗头部被玻璃瓶打中，面部多处被划伤，目前他已经接受治疗正在康复过程中。随后火箭官方也发声明通报了该情况。
布朗也因此缺席了本场比赛。
布朗本赛季场均8.2分4.4篮板1.4助攻。
