据知名记者Marc Spears报道，前NBA球星、“巴西闪电”、现勇士助教巴博萨将参加今夏开赛的BIG3联赛。
巴博萨在2003年首轮第28顺位被选中，登陆NBA，先后效力太阳和勇士等5支球队，曾在2006-07赛季当选最佳第六人，曾随勇士夺得2014-15赛季总冠军。
在2017年巴博萨淡出NBA，回归巴西联赛。2020年9月他宣布退役，随后回到NBA加盟勇士教练组，担任球员指导教练。如今，“巴西闪电”将回归赛场。
因为疫情，BIG3联赛曾取消2020赛季，2021赛季预计在今夏开打。
