北京时间7月23日，据著名NBA记者凯文-奥康纳报道，联盟消息人士透露，猛龙和魔术对向上交易得到骑士的探花签很有兴趣。
但凯文-奥康纳表示，骑士很可能会选择不交易探花签，并且用探花签选中埃文-莫布里。
猛龙在今年选秀中拥有4号签，魔术拥有5号和8号签。
