北京时间7月27日，据NBA选秀专家Matt Babcock报道，雷霆为了得到状元签，不惜血本，据说他们已经为活塞开出一份难以拒绝的诱人报价：他们愿用当家球星吉尔吉斯-亚历山大打包今年的6号签，得到状元签。
据悉，如果雷霆真的开出这样一份报价，他们的目标应该是凯德-康宁汉姆。而两周前刚满23岁的亚历山大，此前一直是雷霆重点培养的建队核心，上赛季场均可以得到23.7分4.7个篮板和5.9次助攻，投篮命中率50.8%，三分命中率也高达41.8%。
