北京时间8月4日，据美国媒体报道，奥兰多魔术队已经和今年的新秀杰伦-萨格斯、弗朗茨-瓦格纳签下了新秀标准合同。
据NBA记者Keith Smith的报道，新秀标准合同为2+2形式，前两年完全保障，后两年为球队选项。
在今年的选秀大会上，魔术用第5顺位选择了萨格斯，用第8顺位选择了瓦格纳。
