森林狼队中的加勒特-卡尔弗是JJ-卡尔弗的弟弟，作为2019年的6号秀，上赛季效力森林狼期间，卡尔弗仅能得到5.3分3.1篮板，并且此前据消息称，森林狼有意将卡尔弗交易。
JJ-卡尔弗是2020年的落选秀，此前在韦兰浸会大学打过四年的NCAA。
