北京时间8月6日 据掘金队记者Harrison Wind报道，吉默-弗雷戴特将代表掘金出战今年的夏季联赛。他因为长年效力于CBA而被中国观众熟知。早年在选秀中顺位比克莱-汤普森还高一个顺位。
吉默-弗雷戴特今年32岁，在NBA曾先后效力于国王、公牛、马刺、鹈鹕、尼克斯和太阳。上赛季他效力于CBA的上海队。
