北京时间8月14日，据美媒体报道，布鲁克林篮网队宣布，下赛季进入球馆的球迷必须是接种过新冠疫苗。
“为了响应纽约市长的要求，我们将要求所有巴克莱中心球馆的工作人员和宾客完全接种疫苗。从9月13日开始，年龄达到12岁或者以上的人必须出示接种过一剂疫苗的证明。”篮网队在声明中写道。
这样一来，篮网队成为NBA第一支要求入馆球迷必须接种过新冠疫苗的球队。
