蒂格来自贝勒大学，但参加新秀大会时落选。上赛季在大学他平均得15.9分、4个篮板和1.7次助攻，命中率为47.9%，成为贝勒大学夺冠功臣。
他在贝勒大学两年，获得2019-20赛季“12区”新人奖，还曾进第二阵容。
