不过，据名嘴Chris Broussard在节目中谈到西蒙斯时说，一位熟悉西蒙斯的消息源告诉他，西蒙斯要求并没有那么高。他愿意为任何一支球队打球，除了留在76人队，此前曝出的国王、森林狼、猛龙等队，西蒙斯都愿意去。不过问题是76人队目前并没有和这些球队达成交易。
