北京时间9月3日，NBA名宿厄尔-门罗近日在纽约布朗克斯区开设了一所篮球专业高中。
门罗在接受采访时表示，在篮球方面回馈社区一直是他的梦想。
“我们的座右铭是来自大卫-斯特恩的一句话，‘一个球和一本书可以改变世界，’这就是我们想要做到的。”
门罗是尼克斯队的名宿，曾帮助尼克斯夺得1973年的总冠军，退役后进入名人堂。
