在剩余的两年合同中，沃尔的薪水为9170万美元。美国篮球记者凯斯-史密斯在社交媒体上写道：“沃尔不太可能在不被交易的情况下去打2021-22赛季。过去226场比赛只打了40场球，他的出勤率只有17.7%。”
