北京时间9月26日，开拓者与科尔津-贝尔文斯签下一份双向合同。
贝尔文斯是2019年落选秀，在开拓者打过训练营，但没留在队中，大部分时间在发展联盟。
2020-21赛季，他终于在NBA得到上场机会，代表开拓者打了17场比赛。他也成为蒙大拿州大史上第一位打NBA的球员。
由于开拓者并没有发展联盟球队，他没有被下放。
