范弗里特此前单场篮板最高纪录是9个，是在2019年12月20日的比赛中所取得的。该场，范弗里特得到18分9个篮板8次助攻，率猛龙以122-118战胜奇才。
值得一提的是，本场是范弗里特NBA生涯第288场比赛。等到生涯第6季和第288场比赛才首次单场篮板上双，范弗里特等待这一天已等了很久了。
