北京时间11月22日，据查拉尼亚报道，多伦多猛龙队和26岁自由球员控卫弗雷德-范弗里特达成了一份4年8600万美元的合同，创下了落选秀单份合同的最高金额纪录。
据悉，范弗里特这份合同的第4年为球员选项。
弗雷德-范弗里特是2016年的NBA落选新秀，但是他逐渐在猛龙队成为一名重要轮换球员。
上赛季，范弗里特场均得到职业生涯最高的17.6分、6.6次助攻、3.8个篮板和1.9次抢断，三分球命中率为39%。
弗雷德-范弗里特被认为是今年NBA自由球员市场上最顶尖的控卫，而猛龙队成功留住了他。
