近期他收到法国U21国家队的征招，回归俱乐部后在新冠检测中呈阳性结果。柏林赫塔官方表示，贡多齐并未与俱乐部的球员及工作人员进行过接触，他的感觉良好，没有出现症状，接下来将进行10天的隔离。
