据英国媒体报道，瓜迪奥拉捐出13万英镑给Open Arms机构，用于修复船只，救助偷渡的难民。
据估计该机构的各类船只在沿海的行动中已经救助了6万1千多人，瓜迪奥拉说：“他们的工作非常棒，帮助一些社会中的弱势人群。他们很多人在寻求难民庇护，很多时候会付出生命的代价。”
据悉，哈维和普约尔等人也对该机构有所支持。
