英格兰职业球员协会（PFA）周三公布了年度最佳球员和年度新秀的提名，福登同时入围两项提名。获胜者将于周日公布。
年度最佳球员6人提名名单中，曼城独占4席，除了福登，还有上届得主德布劳内、迪亚斯、京多安。另外两席属于布鲁诺·费尔南德斯和凯恩。
年度新秀提名6人全部入选本届英格兰队欧洲杯名单。福登之外还有阿诺德、芒特、赖斯、萨卡以及因伤退出的格林伍德。
