前曼联董事毛瑞斯-沃特金斯于周一因病去世，享年79岁。
从1984年开始，沃特金斯作为曼联董事工作了28年，直到2012年离开。1986年，曼联任命弗格森为主教练，沃特金斯起了很大作用。
2012年12月，他出任英国游泳协会主席。2013年5月，他被英冠巴恩斯利队任命为主席。
