由于安哥拉球迷的闯入，比赛也三次因此暂停，但萨拉赫绕过了这些干扰，仍在激励他的队友们，而警方也在随后采取行动，赶走了这些年轻人。
萨拉赫也在本场比赛中送上助攻，最终埃及在0-2过后的情况下，扳平了比分。
