据《太阳报》消息，考虑到巴萨目前的财政状况，阿尔维斯此次回归后的月薪只有象征性的1欧元（折合人民币约7元），几乎就是完全免费为巴萨效力。
阿尔维斯在此前曾表示：“我对巴萨有太多的感情，如果他们需要我，只需要给我打个电话。无论我身在何地，我都会为球队服务。”
