在接连输给利物浦与曼城之后，曼联高层在主教练的位置上已经有了答案。之所以并没有立即解雇索帅，那是因为俱乐部不想在赛季中途换帅，而且罗杰斯也不会在中途接任曼联。
没有特别大的意外，索尔斯克亚将在赛季结束之后被解雇。
