《镜报》消息，最近几周，几位足球运动员一直在推广NFT，包括前切尔西队长特里和曼联传奇鲁尼。尤其是特里正在推广baby apes系列，其中有一部分设计包含英超奖杯和欧冠奖杯。
据报道，英超联赛正在考虑在不久的将来推出自己的NFT，他们担心特里分享的艺术品里使用了英超奖杯。英超联赛奖杯受商标保护，未经许可不得用于上也活动。英超目前也正在寻求法律意见，切尔西也在调查版权情况。
据《每日电讯报》报道，特里参与的baby apes是总部位于美国的Bored Ape Yacht Club分支，内马尔和库里等人都有参与其中。
