据西班牙《每日体育报》报道，阿斯顿维拉希望在今夏买断库蒂尼奥，但他们希望能重新谈判买断费用。目前的合同中规定，库蒂尼奥的买断费用是4000万欧元。
库蒂尼奥加入阿斯顿维拉后表现出色，他出场3次，已经打入2球，助攻2次。
《每日体育报》表示，阿斯顿维拉认为，巴萨应该降低买断库蒂尼奥需要的费用，因为球员本人的年薪很高。目前维拉是租借库蒂尼奥，承担了他70%的薪水。
维拉甚至希望库蒂尼奥自己站出来向巴萨施压，以降低买断费用。
不过巴萨方面事实上也愿意低级出售库蒂尼奥，只要维拉能给个2500万到3000万欧元，巴萨就愿意卖球员。
