阿斯顿维拉此前确认，包括一线队球员和工作人员在内的多人感染新冠，球队已经关闭训练场。一线队所有成员、主帅迪恩-史密斯等人目前都在隔离当中。
此前阿斯顿维拉官方发布公告，明天凌晨同利物浦的足总杯第3轮比赛，将会正常进行。
