作为一名拥有9年NBA球龄的老将，迪恩在职业生涯里场均得到7.9分和6.1个篮板，外加1.4次助攻。他是2013年的首轮21号新秀，当时被爵士队选中，之后被交易到森林狼队。
马刺队最近买断了阿德的合同，而迪恩的加盟能补充马刺队的内线。
